I financed and co-executive produced (along with Dave Jimenez) the debut CD of the seminal Chapel Hill, NC band Zen Frisbee. It was greatly received by to local music community, but, unfortunately, they were never able to break out beyond the regional market. Being able to facilitate the creation of this CD is one of the best things I've done in my life ... to date.
The band and everyone involved in this project owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to Caleb Southern who worked tirelessly to capture this unique band. He went on to work with such bands as Archers of Loaf and Ben Folds Five. He passed away far to young in 2023 at the age of 53.
